PHYTOSANITARY TREATMENT AND ADDITIONAL DECLARATION OF VARIOUS COMMODITIES EXPORTABLE TO CHILE FROM INDIA

Mango VHT Treatment at 48 degree celcius as pulp temperature for 20 minutes in VHT machine.   1)    “The consignment is free from Cryptoblabes gnidiella(LEP, Pyralidae)”;

2)    “The consignment has been subjected to Vapour Heat Treatment (VHT) in India for control of Bactrocera spp. (Dip: Tephritidae)”

3)    “The consignment comes from production areas officially monitored and found free from Strenochetus mangiferae and Strenochetus frigidus(Col.: Curculionidae)”

The consignment must come from the following states and production areas that have been officially monitored and found free from Sternochetus mangiferae and Strenochetus frigidus:

a)    Sate of Uttar Pradesh: production areas of Barabanki, Malihabad and Saharanpur.

b)    Gujarat: production areas of Navsari and Valsad

c)    Maharashtra: production areas of Devgad, Kudal, Malvan, Sawantwadi and Vengaria.

 Cocos nucifera      PSC indicating that Bursaphelenchus cocophilus is not present in India;  1) The shipment must come free from soil and quarantine weed.

2) The packages must be first hand, not allowing the repacking, closed, resistant to manipulation and labelled or tagged in accordance with Agriculture and livestock service regulations.

Jatropha curcas seeds The shipment has been treated (specify the treatment in section III of the phytosanitary certificate) for the control of Colletotrichum capsici,

or else,

the shipment sources from a nursery which has been inspected during the active growth period and found free from Colletotrichum capsici.

·         The shipment must be free from soil and quarantine weed.

·         The shipment must be in new packages (first hand) and tagged or labelled in accordance to the legislation in force.

In case of materials genetically modified by modern biotechnology, the importer must declare this condition and comply with the rules that establish the requirements for the internment and introduction of these materials to the environment.
