Import of Indian Cotton halted by Iran

One of the import conditions by Iran for the Indian Cotton is vaccum fumigation with Methyl bromide at dose of 128 grams/ sq. metre for 3 hours and minimum 15 C temperatures. The Plant Protection Organization of Iran have sought their visit to see the vaccum fumigation facilities in India and  till then not to export and issue Phytosanitary Certificates for cotton export to Iran.
